Artist Reflection: Text
1. The strongest technical aspect of my work was my ability to have the J's in the middle change colors by using the gradient tool on just those specific letters. I had the letters go from black to white to red.
2. One aspect that could have been improved on, was that some of my letters weren't perfectly symmetrical, though appearing to be at first.
3. The easiest part of this project was choosing the colors/ letter. I chose ''J'' because of my name, and I chose these colors because 'murica 🇺🇸.
4. The most difficult part was using the gradient tool, and successfully having the change in colors have the same pattern.
5. I demonstrated this activity by having the image symmetrical (for the most part), and using three colors. Also, I was able successfully use the same font, use the transform tool, gradient tool, paint bucket, eye dropper, move tool, and as well as having at least 10 layers.
6. I wouldn't have changed anything, honestly. I truly liked the way this came out. I also like the fact that you can not really tell that the letter that I used was "J".

Jason, Awesome first assignment!!! You did a great job flipping, rotating, placing, painting, and changing the opacity of your shapes to create a very complex radially symmetrical design. Not to leave out the use of a gradient in the center which creates a strong focal point.
